Dating Update Feb 26

Hey! Lets chat dating for a minute. So as we all know, I became single in October 2023, and I’ve been dating ever since. Well I am single no more! So lets chat about that and discuss my new partner.

So we’ve been together since January, and honestly they are probably the loveliest person I’ve met in a long while. Few fun facts about my partner, they are from the same town as me, they are non-binary and like me they are a single parent as well. So being close distance wise is a very big perk. It means we can see each other more often and, to me, its much easier if one of us suddenly has a free evening to change plans.

We’ve discussed a timeline for meeting my kids, and its a longer term goal. Right now I am more so focusing on building on the idea of the new relationship with my kids at a level they can understand. Obviously with my youngest only being 18 months, it isn’t a topic I’ll be covering much with her at the moment. But the twins are 4, they have some understanding around this topic (but it is limited), and it will be a change for them whenever they do get introduced. I don’t want to rush this stage at all, as obviously they will bond and become attached, and that could have a negative impact if things go wrong. But lets focus on the positives for now, and that I will be building the foundations for them eventually meeting.

I am planning to continue with dating content, and share date ideas and little things to help build a strong, positive relationship. I’ll also be covering some of that on my tiktok in case anyone wants to check that out as well.

My partner is quite private in terms of social media, so I won’t be sharing them on here, or any identifying details, as respecting their wishes is very important.
