Date Ideas Part One

Dating is a hard beast to master, and coming up with date ideas can be just as hard. I know I struggle a lot as a single mum as I have no idea what to organise especially if I might have my kids as well. So I wanted to start a series of date ideas, which hopefully will give people new ideas for what to do on dates, and remind you of the cheesy classics as well.

Each post in this series will have three ideas, one of which will be a classic date idea.

Idea 1 - Beach Walk

I know this is a classic which is why I started with it. It is a staple when the weather is nice but with the right layering, it can also be a classic this time of year. I also love this as you can get some proper cute and cheesy photos too, which is always fun if it isn’t your first date.

Idea 2 - Cocktail Making Class

This idea does require a lot more preplanning and finding a class in your local area but can be fun if you both enjoy the odd cocktail. It should help you see what each other’s favourite may be and you might even get a nice drink out of it! A chill way to spend a first date!

Idea 3 - Painting Date

This sounds random but can be a lot of fun. Get a couple of canvases, some paints and brushes and set up something for you both to paint. You can even make it into a friendly competition and say the loser plans the next date! Can be made even more fun with a glass of wine each! (non-alcoholic in my case!)
